  • 1 dried red chili, broken
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Salt to taste

  • For the Yogurt Raita:

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste

  • Preparation Process:

    1. Cook the Rice:

  • Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly.
  • In a pot, heat ghee, add cumin seeds, green chili, and bay leaf.
